Turbot

Description: A flatfish with a beautiful pattern, the Turbot is a light stone colour with darker olive coloured spots all over its diamond shaped body. It is covered with bony tubercles which help identify it.

Where does it live: The Mediterranean Sea, the Baltic Sea and The North Sea.

When is it in season: April to August. Farmed Turbot are available all year.

What does it eat: Turbot eat other small fish.
