Plaice

Description: A flatfish with a narrow body and olive green in colour. They also have dark orange or red spots over the topside of their body. Their underside is creamy white in colour.

Where does it live: All over European waters.

When is it in season: May to December

What does it eat: Molluscs, Shrimp and smaller creatures.

Size: 25-40cm.
