Megrim

Description: A larger head than most flatfish, the Megrim has a narrow body and is light sandy brown on its body that can have dark spots all over. It has a white underbelly.

Where does it live: The Atlantic, The Mediterranean and Africa.

When is it in season: April to December are the best times to enjoy Megrim.

What does it eat: The feed from the seabed on smaller fish, squid and crustaceans.

Size: 25-35cm.
